In a recent survey it has been discovered that 76% of men in their 20′s would be unhappy if they lost their hair.
36% of men said they would consider a hair transplant with 45% of men advising they would resort to medications and treatments such a minoxidil and Propecia. Only 3% of the men surveyed said they would consider wearing a hairpiece.

It appears that hair loss worries happen on a sliding scale, depending on age. 23% of men between the age of 30 – 40 said they would be concerned if they started losing their hair with only 12% of men over the age of 40 having similar hair loss
worries.
If you are currently experiencing hair loss, your current treatments include taking Propecia and minoxidil. These two medications will mostly aid in the maintenance of your current hair count, although some users do see some noticeable regrowth.
The other option is having a hair transplant. This is where surgeons take the “healthy” hair from the sides of your head and transplant it into the balding areas. Hair transplants can be expensive and you should be prepared to have extra work done in the future as your hair loss may get worse. You should keep in mind that you have a limited donor area on the back and sides of your head.
There are other options available such a natural remedies and laser treatment but there are no conclusive studies that indicate that substantial hair growth will occur.
Potential future treatments include “hair cloning.” Hair cloning will mean that there will be a potentially unlimited amount of donor hair available to implant on the top of your head. While studies and trials continue, it is not likely to be available for at least 5 years.
