Tom Hanks New Hair Transplant

Hes starred in films such as BIG, Apollo 13 and Forrest Gump.  Hes won almost every award imaginable and the Hollywood actor also seems to have won the battle against hair loss.

Yep, were going to add Tom Hanks to the long list of Hollywood Actors who have underwent a hair transplant.

Hanks has made sure to have minimal work carried out over a period of time.  His hair has remained mysteriously intact for the last 20 years. This is not a normal pattern of baldness which should progress after a few years.

Male pattern baldness occurs because the person has genetically inherited the MBP gene. And contrary to belief, it does not only come from the mother’s side of the family.

The hair transplant procedure is actually quite simple.  The procedure begins with calming the patient and administering pain killing injections.  Then the doctor removes the follicle’s from the side of the head and implants them into the balding area on the top of the head.
